Serendipity Catering & Design was established in 2019. We cater to over one hundred events per year, specializing in large-scale weddings of 50-250 guests.

We partner with venues locally, such as Rixey Manor, The Refinery, Morais Vineyards and Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton. We’re also on the preferred partner list of venues slightly outside of the Culpeper region, including Market at Grelen in Somerset, Shenandoah Woods in Luray, and Shadow Creek in Purceville.

Our culinary team specializes in traditional fanfare American cuisine. Some of our most popular appetizers include Chicken & Waffles, Petite Crab Cakes, Mini Street Tacos, and Beef Tenderloin Crostini with Roasted Tomato and Brie. Braised Beef Shortribs, Tuscan Chicken, Parmesan Risotto and Wild Mushroom Ravioli are the top dinner items. We also offer many tasty vegan and gluten free menu selections so that guests with dietary restrictions can equally enjoy.

We work closely with local rental companies so that we can provide full-service catering to include table linens, china, glassware, and furniture.

I’m so pleased that we have relocated to Culpeper as this is the community in which we live and want to support. You’ll often find us treating the teachers and administration at local schools, specifically Pearl Sample and Floyd T. as that is where our children attend. We hope to find many ways to immerse our business into the local community as we settle into our new space.

There are plans in the works for a cafe, “Serendipity Snackery” at our location in the near future. We will announce further plans and details this summer.
