Braggs Corner had another well-attended Trunk or Treat.
The organizer of this event, a long-time tenant at Braggs Corner, Karen Corron of BOOM Fitness & BOOM KIDZ, took it up another notch this year and made it bigger and more people friendly. We even had hot dogs for purchase if the candy wasn’t going to do the trick for you.
Once again, Danny’s Bouncy House Rentals provided the bounce house and slide. There was also a playhouse for kids to explore provided by This N That Amish.
Doggy Clips extended their trunk display and carried an animal haunted house theme into his space. As you walked down the spooky hallways, the kids enjoyed an amusing layout in each room with cobwebs, ghosts, lights, and lighted eyes from the “animals”.
Special appreciation goes to the public safety departments for attending and handing out candy. Thanks to the Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department Co. 1, Reva Volunteer & Rescue Co. 16 and the Culpeper County Sheriff’s office. Thank you, Sheriff Chilton and all the deputies who attended the fun community event.
We had approximately 1800-2000 children, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents in attendance.
Trophies were handed out after the community voted:

- The Cutest: Alyssa and Madisyn Corron-Alice and Wonderland
- The Scariest: Reformation Lutheran Church Youth Group-Jurassic Park
